Turn Lyme Green

Sustainability starts with you

Since 2007, we have been promoting sustainable living, and engaging the community in environmental issues in Lyme Regis. We meet regularly, plan campaigns and events, and have fun. Collaboration with other environmental groups in West Dorset and beyond is an important part of keeping everyone informed and up to date. TLG acts local, thinks Global.

We would love to hear from you…

We are grateful to Lyme Regis Town Council for its support over many years and for annual grants. Close liaison with the Council has led to success for campaigns, especially Plastic Free Lyme Regis and River Lim Action. We are also greateful for the relationships we have made with other local environmental groups, including Charmouth, Chardstock, Bridport, Beaminster and Axminster and at county level, Dorset Climate Action |Network (DCAN). These links make us all stronger in tackling the effects of climate change and threats to biodiversity.

Supporters

Our Steering Group meets at least 4 times a year to co-ordinate activities and community involvement, follow progress and discuss new ideas. Main projects each have a leader. By completing our contact form, we can put you in touch with the leader of any activities which interest you.
